Halloween! The Princess and the Peacock:)

Halloween came and went like a tornado but lots of memories were made! When it is on the weekend, it is exhausting. BUT the girls were troopers and we had so much fun doing all different activities! We started off our day at Marley and Bradley's for lunch and stayed to watch football and play until it was time to get ready for Lucy Kate and Bryant's hayride halloween party. Marley helped me get Allie Harris all ready for her big night:) Allie Harris was Cinderella and was beautiful as can be and Gray was a Peacock and the picture says it all. She didn't mind it one bit. She just let everyone hold her and then she fell asleep in the pack and play at Marley and Bradley's! After we left the hayride party we went back to Marley and Bradley's to feed gray and then head to the St. George's Carnival where Graydon had to work. But Allie Harris looked at Marley and me and said, I haven't gotten to trick or treat yet! And she was right, because we missed the hayride at the earlier party to get back to feed Gray and head to Carnival. Well, nothing ever goes as planned and it is always for a reason and this time, sweet Marley took AH all over her neighborhood in her golf cart to trick or treat. Allie Harris felt so special because it was just her, no baby sister for a bit! On sunday we went to a First United Methodist Halloween Hayride and Pumpkin Painting at Mimi and Hunter's house and it was a blast. Smores, hot dogs, hayrides and kids. The weather all weekend was perfect and we got to spend time with some good friends! Thank you to everyone for everything!!!

The 2 cutest little girls! They were stuck to each other at this party and it was adorable! Allie Harris and Anna Louise Hood (who is Jessie from Toy Story). They are chatty Kathies just like their mommas!

AH and AL stayed on this little see-saw talking for about 20 minutes. It was too cute! Melissa and I got to catch up which was nice too! Allie Harris would introduce them as, 'HI i am Cinderella and this is Jessie!"

My dear friend Jennie with her daughter Katie, above holding Gray is her twin Jack.

Give 'em the Stink Eye Gray!!

Gray has been looking in the mirror and doing different faces, then laughs at herself. But this one takes the cake! Now she does it all the time, almost on command because we all laugh so hard! Allie Harris tried to do her best impression but had a hard time not laughing while doing it! She kinda looks like popeye?! Too cute!

You talkin' to me??
I SAID...You talkin' to me??!

About to laugh, but still trying to give the stink eye...

Rosy lips trying to do the same, not quite the same effect!

Finally broke down laughing!

Every night during our prayers the first thing Allie Harris says, "Dear Jesus, thank you for my baby sister!" Then she goes through everyone and everything else she is thankful for but ALWAYS says her baby sister first:)

Both doing the face. Allie Harris also thought she would attempt to sit in the bumbo chair...and got stuck.

Come one Gray, you can do it!!

Hi!!! Look at this sweet smile, baby blues and long lashes:) She is amazing!

Our family happenings:)

FINALLY a family photo that isn't that bad! For those of you who have kids you know how hard it is to get an actual picture, so these turned out pretty decent and we are thankful for that. So much has been going on recently with Gray, it is like each week is a milestone. She is 6 months and weighs approximately 13lbs 13 oz and 25 inches long. This puts her in the little peanut category of the 10th and 25th percentiles respectively:) Allie Harris was always over the 100th percentile so needless to say they are different which is awesome! Gray is sitting up on her own and her official first word was Dada. So adorable to hear her babble. She is sleeping about 12 hours a night and takes great naps for right now. I know this could change at anytime, but am soaking it up for now!!! Allie Harris on the other hand has really grown up a lot lately. She has always been a loving little girl but now she will just stop doing whatever she is doing for a second and always tell you, Hey, Mommy, I love you. (or whoever she is spending time with) I love that she is so aware of telling us and other family and friends that. My mom said if AH told me once, she told me 100 times, DeeDee, I love you so much. Melts your heart! We also traveled to Nashville to visit my cousin Rachel and her hubby Chip, where we had a blast! Adorably pregnant Meghan came and kept her nieces while Rach and I went to run the 5k together. Thanks so much, Meghan and we can't wait to meet Miss Benton soon!!!

My beautiful family (I am partial!)
Shadows are bad but I don't even care because we got one all together!

Visiting Graydon grandfather on his 90th birthday! He was having such a good day, recognized and spoke to everyone, even the little ones! What a blessing! He is truly amazing and we are so glad we got to have some quiet, quality time with just Amelia, Julie, Gaines and us. Perfect!

She looks so much like her Papa Flowers it cracks me up!

LOVE this one:)

Sits up all by herself, such a big girl!

Our beautiful, sweet, amazing daughters!!! I cannot believe we have two daughters! They are such a joy and such blessings every second of every day!

Giving little sister some love...

Cheese!

Ole Miss Black Bears?? Mom, you're too funny. She loves her Col. Reb:)

We had an amazing long weekend trip to Nashville to visit my sweet cousin Rachel and her husband Chip. We had a blast and can't wait to go back soon! The girls had so much fun too and slept well, which makes or breaks a trip! And my wonderful Mommy came over for a night so we could go to a movie with them and she could visit with her granddaughters:)

The late night that got a few of us the next day...But all worth it!

After running the Susan G. Komen 5K which was a great idea. Rach and I really got to talk about all sorts of stuff:) Miss you!
